Plans, trials, and billing
How Basic and Pro differ in practice, how Stripe fits in, and what to expect when managing a subscription in DrawGen.
Basic vs Pro in one paragraph
Basic is the private organizer workspace: build draws, schedule, export, and manage saved files without running a live player portal. Pro adds the tournament layer players feel: portal, sharing, communications, richer analytics inside the product, and in-app AI on key organizer screens during live operations.
Exact limits and marketing language evolve—when in doubt, trust the Pricing page in the product for the current comparison table.
Stripe and payment data
When billing is enabled in your environment, subscriptions are processed by Stripe. DrawGen stores enough information to know your plan status, but full card numbers live with Stripe, not in our database. Stripe’s terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing.
If billing is temporarily disabled (preview environments, manual access), you may still use the app without checkout until your operator turns payments on.
Managing your subscription
- Use Dashboard → Billing to start checkout when available.
- Open the customer portal (when enabled) to update payment methods or cancel renewals.
- Watch for dunning emails from Stripe if a card fails—fix payment before you lose Pro-only surfaces mid-event.
Questions we cannot answer from the app
Exact tax lines, proration math, and contract nuances depend on Stripe configuration and your jurisdiction. For those details, use in-app billing receipts, the customer portal, or email support with your account email and approximate purchase time.
