Tournament Workspace and public registration (Pro)
How Pro connects registration, entries, draws, scheduling, messages, the Tournament Home, and My Tournaments without changing the Basic private toolkit.
Basic and Pro have different jobs
Basic is the private toolkit: build and edit draws, schedule courts, record results, save the workspace, and export or print. Pro includes Basic and adds every public or player-facing tournament capability.
Run the organizer journey in one workspace
- Use Overview for readiness and publication context.
- Use Entries for registration settings, people, capacity, waitlists, waivers, exports, and the Create-with-AI handoff.
- Use Draws and Schedule for the existing editors and court plan.
- Use Messages for participant email, invites, announcements, delivery status, and claim fallback for manually entered players.
Players use one Tournament Home
Share the tournament's `/t/...` link. Before publication it carries event facts and registration. After publication the same page adds draws, schedule, and results. Registered players are linked to their DrawGen account from the start and do not claim that registration-created slot.
My Tournaments combines registrations, waitlists, active events, history, statistics, notifications, and followed organizers. Historical and manually entered players can still use the existing claim flow.
Payments remain separately controlled
Cash-at-the-desk registration is a permanent Pro mode. Online registration payment code may appear in restricted pilots, but collection remains unavailable until DrawGen separately activates its payment gate and completes the required operational and professional review.
